Polykemi, a family-owned enterprise with more than 200 employees, is headquartered in Ystad, Sweden, where all major functions can be found, including sales, technical support, purchasing, administration and research and development. An independent subsidiary in Kunshan, China, provides sales, purchasing and production services. We also have our own subsidiaries and sales offices in Denmark, Germany and Czech Republic .
Production in Ystad includes several extruder lines, where our operators are independently responsible for the entire production process – from the mixing of raw materials, reinforcements and additives according to customized formulas, running the extruder and ongoing production control, to packaging the finished product. Our laboratory employees carry out ongoing tests of production and quality control.
Our warehouse employees are responsible for all finishing and repackaging of goods, while our forklift operators handle incoming and outbound goods.
Polykemi has its own operations and maintenance department that takes care of regular repairs and maintenance of machinery, as well as installation of new machinery and equipment. Employees in operations and maintenance take care of repairs, electrical systems, ventilation and custodial services.
