Lycro AS Norway

Synthetic skating ice.

Synthetic ice able skating activities -outdoors and indoors regardless of climate, weather or temperature. Is sold to end customers under the trade name SCAN-ice ®. Wherever installed it has puzzled the skaters by its low friction, really resembling skating on natural ice as well as the fact that even the sound of the skate gliding on the surface – is a bit like the sound of natural ice. The SCAN-ice ® plates are made in a highly special HDPE based compound with a smart connection system that simplifies the mounting. The shape of the connecting system also makes it easier to move a whole rink and it finally also makes it really easy to exchange single plates.
