The battery cover is placed as a protection on top of the batteries on trucks. Normally the batteries and cover are placed directly behind the drivers cab.

  1. The material is optimized for giving a nice surface finish despite a somewhat difficult flow path. Additionally there are demands for high weather and UV resistance as the parts are constantly externally exposed.
