With the challenges and opportunities ahead, they all believe this is the strongest possible team. The new roles will enable them to bring out the best in everyone and achieve the best results for the company.
A Family Business at Heart - Herman Hugosson
Polykemi is and has always been a family business. But for us, that does not only refer to the ownership of the company, it's a workplace culture. Our origin has served us well, and we want to continue to create a sense of togetherness in our company.
With his experience and heart in the production, Herman as CEO Sweden, with the responsibility for the operations in Ystad, want the company to continue to grow while maintaining the values that define it.
Global Growth Through Experience - Oscar Hugoson
Growing up with Polykemi Group, the company roots run deep in the third generation. They have been there for many milestones, giving them experience and a deep understanding of the business as they will guide the company’s growth across three continents.
Oscar is the new CEO Global of Polykemi Group, and he will be will focusing on connecting all the companies, big and small, strengthening synergies, and contribute to the overall global strategy.
Shaping the Future - Johan Hugoson
When Johan moved to North Carolina three years ago, he took on more than a new job – he took on the challenge of bringing Polykemi to life in a new country. Running a production site far from the company’s roots meant translating not only processes and products, but also the company culture. With a lifetime of experience within Polykemi, Johan was uniquely prepared to carry its spirit into this next journey.
Moving forward, Johan will continue in his role as CEO North America and looks positively toward the future.
Values That Last - Vendela Hugosson
This is not only a new chapter for the third generation, but an opportunity to strengthen the values that have always defined us as a company. To have people feel good about the company is a reminder of why we do what we do – creating a workplace and a company where people truly feel valued and welcome.
Vendela has chosen to continue with her work at the purchase department and also be part of the company’s management team, bringing both her expertise and dedication to our ongoing success.
Stronger Together - Gustav Hugoson
The last one of the third generation to join the party! Like his brothers and cousins, Gustav has grown up with the company to carry forward its legacy. Every milestone, every challenge, and every success become part of that legacy, shaping the future we’re building together with all employees. When we all work together as a team, everything gets both easier and more enjoyable.
Gustav as Deputy CEO for Polykemi Group will be the right hand to Oscar and Herman. He will be operating close to the organization while also focusing on key strategic questions.
