With our advanced calculation tool, we can determine if any of our other virgin materials have a lower environmental impact than your current choice.
If the requirements profile differs, recycled materials may be a better fit. We’ve recently made exciting advancements that have led to several promising projects in this area.
Collaboration with ABB enables sustainable transition to recycled material
Over the past decade, our experts have developed our high-quality recycled compounds to match the performance of virgin polymers. This allows our customers to choose materials without compromising on quality or sustainability. These recycled materials are typically available in black and other dark shades, but specific conditions may offer completely different possibilities.
An example of this is our collaboration with ABB, where we enabled a transition to recycled material in their red, green, black, and gray junction boxes produced at ABB's facility in Borgå, Finland. By replacing the material in the junction boxes with our REZYcom PP, they reduced the carbon footprint by as much as 40% per box during production.
