At Fakuma, we presented our latest developments in ELV-R materials, which were met with great enthusiasm among automotive industry visitors. The fair also provided an opportunity to discuss material selection more broadly, including virgin and recycled materials and verified environmental data.

ELV-R materials and new developments

We presented our latest ELV-R material developments, which was definitely a key topic in our conversations at Fakuma. Our approach builds on materials with an established track record in the automotive industry, taking them a step further to address new ELV requirements. The discussions highlighted the importance of combining recycled content with the quality, processability and performance needed in real-world production.

Material selection is relevant far beyond automotive, of course. We also talked about how to choose the right material for the right application, including the options available in both virgin and recycled materials and the thinking behind our Materialsmart concept.

Environmental data more comparable

We also introduced our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), giving visitors a first look at how this verified environmental data can help make product impacts clearer and easier to compare.

A big thank you to everyone who visited us at Fakuma. We appreciated the conversations, questions and perspectives, and look forward to keeping those discussions going.

New trade fair magazine

Fakuma also marked the launch of our new trade fair magazine about ELV and EPD! If you didn’t get a copy this time, look out for us at upcoming trade fairs and pick one up there.
